About a year ago Google removed the Interesting Calendars feature from their calendar app, so figured it might be worth it to handle that in a completely different approach.
With about 1 night’s work, I whipped up the site www.interestingcalendars.com just to make a quick prototype of how it might work alongside a business-model.
Afterwards I quickly realized that I needed an extra investment to get the infrastructure rolling in such a way that people would a) get what they need and b) it would be possible to protect the data that people were sharing.
To my surprise that prototype site is now getting about 10 visitors per day while I never even posted a link to it anywhere on the internet.
Perhaps it’s something to look into after all.
